This is a collection of seven German Cloth Dolls. These were brought to the US from Germany in 1952. Each is 7'' high, all stuffed fabric with full skirts allowing them to stand alone.

The dolls include (by photo): France, Oralia ? (hard to read), Dutch, Switzerland, Bavarian, Germany, Germany Country Bride Wurzburg.

They have wonderful faces, hand painted in oils. Each has lovely floss hair, some sewn into curls, some in long shiny braids. They have little mitten hands, and stuffed legs with stockings & little sewn-on felt shoes.

The costumes are wonderful with beautiful materials, antique lace, and a myriad of trims, cords, beads, etc. The bride holds a rosary and a bible.
